We are looking for an enthusiastic and talented musculoskeletal physiotherapist with 3+ years MSK experience. You should have excellent clinical reasoning, manual therapy, and rehabilitation skills and be enthusiastic about working in partnership with patients to help maximise their potential and improve their health outcomes.

You will be working with keen and self-motivated patients from a variety of sources – Consultant, PMI, and Self-referred – and a wide variety of presentations.

You will be supported by a very experienced team working to assist your professional development.

The ideal candidate would be available to work weekday evenings.

This is a self-employed position with pay set at 40% of the fee charged for the patients that you see.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients to gain a full understanding of their clinical presentation and perceived needs.
• Provide treatment to patients specific to the individual and working towards agreed goals.
• Manage your own case-load and work in a timely manor to an out-patient schedule.
• Partake in case management of referred patients including working to a pre-authorised number of treatment sessions and completing relevant case paperwork and reports as required.

Qualifications

Essential:

• BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy or equivelant
• HCPC registration
• CSP registration
• CPD portfolio

Desirable:

• Relevant post-graduate course

Experience

Essential:

• Previous MSK outpatient experience in the UK
• Good organisational/prioritisation skills

Desirable:

• 3+ years MSK clinical experience
• Involvement with service evaluation/audit/research
• Previous band 6 MSK experience
• Ability to work flexibly
